Hi! I know what you mean; I'm extremely, painfully shy most of the time, and yet I love acting. Just remember; when you get on stage, you're not being yourself, you're portraying another person, a character. Acting is like storytelling.
Before you get onstage, take some deep breaths, and focus yourself. Try to pretend that the audience isn't there; it's just you and whoever else is onstage with you, or if nobody is onstage with you, it's just you. Try not to break the fourth wall, which means looks slightly above the audience and don't ever look at the audience (unless you were told by your director to do so).
But as a very shy girl myself, I must say that acting is so much easier than you might think. It's a trillion times easier than public speaking and it's easier than talking to people that you don't know well. Just be confident in yourself, and focus on your character and on the scene instead of the audience.
Don't worry! You'll do great! :D
