Does anyone know or have a guess to who Adams talking about in the song If I Had You

"You" isn't a specific person. "You" is the one. "You" is Adam's true love. "You" is the person we are all waiting for to come into our lives and sweep us off our feet. "You" is the person that he will truly fall in love with.

Or "You" could be interpreted as love itself.

That's just my take on it. :)

I really don't know, but I think probably an ex or someone...I like to imagine that it's ME who he's talking about...hehehe
