Somebody bored, who wanted to create something for people to talk and wonder about.

I know some think think that alien beings made the circles. But I have a hard time beleiving that an intellegence would travel such a distance only to make crop circles. Considersing the distance to our closet neighbor solar system, it might very well take generations to make the trip. There are also some who feel that member of a cult group may be involved. With the right equipment, and time without anyone watching, I think it's feasable a person or persons could do it. Some people will go to great lengths to get a name in the papers. These are the possibilites and my educated guess is that they were man made.
