'You seriously gonna eat that WHOLE block of chocolate?' Lindy asked, wide eyed.
'Yeah. Why not?' Rachel replied biting into it. 'Oh, sorry. Did you want some?'
'No,no. It's just...a whole bar of chocolate? Get real!'
'Okay, so I'm a bit of a chocoholic. But what's it to you, Lindy?'
'Listen, Rach...' her voice trailed off. They were silent for a moment, Lindy trying to choose the right words to say. 'What, Lindy?'
'It's just...' her voice finally broke. 'Too much chocolate is not good for you. I guess I'm just a bit scared. You've been eating a lot lately, and I'm a bit worried,' Lindy said bluntly. Rachel was knocked back by this statement. She was silent for a minute, and then finally said 'Lindy, why do care how much chocolate I eat? I mean, you already have other stuff to worry about. Why worry about me?'
'Because I care about you.'
'Why do you care?' Rachel was getting a bit aggravated.
'Because I love you. Why are you acting this way, Rach? You've never spoken to me like this before. What's wrong?' Rachel stiffened up, put the chocolate down, gave Lindy a cold, hard stare for 30 seconds, then spun around on her heel and stormed out of the room.
'Wow!' Lindy thought to herself. 'What's up with Rach? ... I should follow her.' So she got up and quietly followed Rachel.
