Hair problems, please help.

I'm going to be cosplaying as L from death note soon, but there's a slight problem...I don't remember how to put my hair up in the wigcap! I need to know how to put it in before next thurs. so I don't have to get my hair cut for this one occasion. My hair is long enough that the end is to the middle of my back, it's semi-thick and wavy/curly. Know how to attach it to my head and wig, the problem is my hair, please help!

thanks but I don't know how to do a flat bun,(thank you so much for answering boy the way!), and second the first time I tried that the wig stuck out from my head. My sister did this sort of twisty thingy and it worked but I can't get in contact with her, and I need to becasue I don't remember how she did it. but thanks for trying.

try taking a big wad of hair and twisting it in you're hand that might work.
