Another skinny, childish princess. how do you feel about that?

Dude, she wants a better life because she's been trapped in a freakin' tower for 18 years. And I think you missed the part in the preview where she's trying to convice Pascal she's fine. She specifically said "I'm happy in here, and so are you." She's trying to stay happy. I'd imagine that it's hard to keep youself content for over 6570 days. I do admit the curiosity and spunkiness are repeating themes in the Renaissance and New princesses. But those are small things.

Belle is "I want to leave, but I really think my father needs me for his wellbeing."

Ariel is "I want to leave, so I'm gonna freakin' leave. Who cares about what I'm leaving behind?"

Rapunzel is "I don't think I can leave, even though I really want to. I have no experience in the outside world, and my mother would be crushed."

1. Her figure
I think that Snow White is the only Disney princess who is not very slender. But about Rapunzel, I think she's like the Disney 3D girls. They have big heads, big eyes, small bodies. Like Violet Parr, Ellie Fredriksen, and Bolt's Penny. I don't think Rapunzel is beautiful, but she's cute and prettier than other Disney 3D girls so far.

2. Her personality
I don't think she's like Ariel. Imagine Ariel scolding Eric the way Rapunzel bickers with Flynn! Rapunzel is like new Disney girls. They're dominant and they can be angry with their loves. Like Colette, Tiana, EVE, Helen Parr...

But I think Rapunzel and Flynn's relationship is more like Tiana and Naveen's because the guy can be naughty too.

And about her desire for better life, almost every Disney Princess wants it too! Only Pocahontas and Tiana don't want to change their lives.

It doesnt really bug me...its just the steareotype princess I guess you could say..I never really payed much attention to it but I guess it could be annoying and quite demeaning:/ Sorry.

I think if anything this is asking "why do all the princesses need to look the same?" or "why do they all need to be stereotype beautiful?". There are girls out their with big heads, small bodies, doesn't mean they're ugly.

Also she's wearing a corseted dress so yes she's going to have a thin waist, it's how a lot of women were back in the original era of the story (well before anyways). She's also designed more different because the animation style is different from classic Disney princesses which were just a very 2D cartoon style.

I think Rapunzel is very beautiful, and I can't see why everyone thinks she's similar to Ariel.
Sorry, but I don't see it. At all.
And I think almost all animated characters have unnatural body. It's fine!
What about their personality. Well, to live alone in the tower and want a better life... is... hmmm... so... natural, don't you think?

I`m not sure if she`s similiar to Ariel.Maybe slightly...
And yes, she is a bit disproportionate and I don`t find her beatiful, but I also don`t find her ugly.

she's very beautiful, her personality (from the trailers" is so cute.
u shouldn't judge her now, it's only one month and then the movie will be released, watch it, and then u may say whatever u like.
