Who would Merida like more (as a princess/heroine)?

I know most people would say she liked Ariel more because their story is more a like, but to be honest I think she would hate Ariel.

Merida ended up learning from her mistakes in the end and confessing that she was wrong, while apologizing. She would probably be very bother-some of Ariel never showing a bit of remorse for her actions. Also Merida doesn't like girly stuff and Ariel is the queen of girly. Merida and Ariel's personality just wouldn't match, one girly, boy crazy and a bit selfish, the other tom-boyish, non-romantic and shows selflessness through the end.

Merida probably wouldn't like Rapunzel much either and fight her just as annoying, but would probably respect her more for being steady in her tower without complaining and respecting her mother which Merida wished she would have done. Also she would like how she's not as boy crazy as Ariel and waited to get married.

She is looks like heroines more than a princess. Yeah because she's a tomboy and she want to be a normal girl rather than being a princess.
