I think it's awesome and I really hope they do make a sequel. I hope it's a lot darker and more dynamic than the original. I think it should make up for the false advertising and be a story of a curse on the land where Merida saves the day. Also where Merida is heroic and a bada**, hopefully on the same level as Mulan and Kim Possible. PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL AND MAKE IT LIKE THIS!

If they have a good idea for the sequel, great! Go for it.

If they do make a sequel, it'll have to be better than the original movie. I don't really know if they should though.

They have to make it because remember, Merida doesn't have a love interest. So there has to be a sequel for at least that.

I'm inclined to pick this for a sequel to any movie...

The first movie was awesome so as long as they stay with the same feel as the first one okay...I just hope they don't try to make her have a love interest or put singing into it.....she is a great character just the way she is....

I have been to every movie site and not heard this. This is a big rumor that some dumb site started. ( not just saying that.) PIXAR though it may seem like it, Doesn't just jump into sequels. It took forever for them to develop sequels to two of there most popular films. - Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo. After that its Incredibles they are still thinking about. Even though you guys love this film it did poorly over all and is the lowest grossing Pixar film after Cars 2. So a sequel is highly unlikely. Even between their most popular and highest grossing - Toy story series- it took them almost a decade between 2 and 3.

I want it. Please give a prince to Merida! <3

I'd love for Merida to have the chance to show her more heroic side, and for more growth from the characters. I love Brave, but honestly a more adventure type movie would've been so much better for Merida's character. (I wonder if they'd age her design like Dreamworks is doing with Hiccup's design in HTTYD2) There's so much possibility with that world and those characters I'd love to see it further explored, as long as it's done well of course.

It all depends on how well the sequel turns out. With more information I'd gravitate to one of the other two options.

I'd be really interested to see what direction they'd go in for the sequel. I wouldn't like to see a typical disney princess love story, I'd like to see Merida remain single somehow, and becoming the reigning Queen of her kingdom. Maybe the sequel could be all about her proving her worth as Queen by leading her kingdom in some great war or something. That'd be really cool. As long as they keep the Merida and Elinor relationship alive too.

If they do an amazing sequel, it could hopefully at least get the Brave haters to lay off a bit. =)

I actually loved the movie but I'm afraid the sequel would be like Cars 2; a little dry and focused on only one character. :/
