rhythmicmagic picked Less feminine- Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, and Merida:
Mulan and Pocahontas are my favorite, and I also love Ariel and Tiana, though Merida is my least favorite.
I do love Aurora and Snow White, and I really like Belle and Rapunzel. I just like most of the less feminine ones better. Not because they're less feminine, though.

I like them both. I'm more of a tomboy, but that doesn't mean I don't like the more feminine princesses. I have favorites who are less feminine and more feminine.

^ Actually both are quite feminine, if you watch the movies and know what feminine means, you'd understand.

My top 5 has 3 feminine, 2 not, so I'm more or less equal. It's odd because my favorite princess (Aurora) is feminine, but my least favorite princess (Cinderella) is also feminine.

I don't care how feminine a princess is, I care how much I like her character....

I don't mind, and I agree with Swanpride here. I go for more wistful and ambitious characters and they all are.

I do care about character the most, but I find that feminine ones usually have that the most. not that I think the less feminine ones are bad, I just find values I appreciate more in the feminine ones (except Jasmine I guess). My top three are the classics so of course I favor more feminine ones. I don't mind them being less feminine, though, I just detest characters who despise their own femininity and look down their noses at girly females (which is way, way too common in fiction).

Except I prefer more of the less feminine, but I definitely agree with the last sentence.

Both can be great. I can love girly characters and I can love tomboyish ones even though other then merida I don't think any of the DPs are tomboys

some of this categorizing seems arbitrary (what makes belle or rapunzel more feminine than pocahontas?)
but yeah, my top 5 are a pretty mixed bag.

Swanpride has it right. Who cares? You're not less of a female for not wearing a ballgown 24/7.

Tbh I don't mind if they are feminine or less feminine, I like the princesses because their personality as well :)

And I think Ariel is considered in feminine princess group while Belle is more like the less feminine one.

Why are some of you acting so defensive? She asked which type you tend to like more. Calm down.

I only like Ariel and Pocahontas out of the "less feminine." I love all the "feminine" princesses.
