At least Cinderella had some happy years with her father and had friends to keep her company. Penny only had a cat and a stuffed bear, other than that no friends. Cinderella was abused because of her beauty while Penny's looks were mocked "What makes you think that anyone would want a homely little girl like you?" Plus we don't know if she knew her parents. Every single day her life was in danger with going into the well to look for the devil's eye and risks drowning.

I've never seen the rescuers. From what KataraLover said Penny's life sounds worse but...eh. Maybe I'll change my vote, she is a child after all.

Guys, I know Penny is a child, but you seem to be forgetting Cinderella was abused since she was a child too.

I'm guessing at the end of the movie Penny was no longer abused since that's how Disney movies go. I guess Cinderella had been abused, plus she was humiliated mocked for her looks the same even though she was beautiful. Hmmmm I need to think about this.

So I just saw the Rescuers and it's hard to tell who I felt more for. I might change my vote.
