I like Tuptim okay but she's kind of just there. Elsa is really do like but I'm not crazy about her.

I like them both, but I LOVE Elsa, while Tuptim is not that important, like KL said she's just there.

Well trust me when I say that the animated movie is really bad. It's widely considered the WORST adaption to anything related to Rodgers and Hammerstein of all time! I can definitely see why they say that because it's really bad. The only thing that's really good about is some cool characters (not that memorable though), beautiful animation, and amazing songs (though some of them aren't appropriately placed).

Tuptim serves no purpose of being a character, other than being that one character's name nobody remembers' love interest. Elsa is the main character and... she has ACTIONS.

I have this movie and I've seen it several times as a kid. But yeah, I don't remember Tuptim really doing anything. I remember her being nice with the little elephant, the prince falling for her because she's pretty and lying to her by saying that he was a servant too, and then she cries because he was actually a prince and their love was forbidden. And then she becomes a damsel-in-distress.

I never seen The King and I, so.....
