I feel this is not a very fair representation. The classic and modern princesses get pictures of their voice actresses around the age they recorded, or at least when they're in their prime. Whereas, some of the early Renaissance girls like Jodi Benson and Paige O'Hara get pictures of how old they are in present day, rather than the age they were back when they actually recorded the princess voices. =/

^ Paige O'Hara looks really young there. Compared to how she looks now. As about Jodi it was hard to find a picture of her during her TLM years. Besides I though you all know how she looked at that time and how she looks now. I just added those photos as an example.
I though it was obvious that some of the actresses are middle aged grown up women and eventually have some wrinkles and stuff, while the princesses are all younger than 20 (Well, Elsa is 21).
The point is to look past the age and the wrinkles. Age doesn't change your eyes, your faceshape, your features and other stuff.

Well because her age is more older than Ariel's. But this isn't really important. The important thing is how she can voice and sing as Ariel perfectly. Just my opinion.

I've never found Ariel very pretty except that shot where she's singing to Eric after rescuing him. Jodi is pretty in a mom-ish way.
