I saw some talking on the wall about this, so I figured I would make a poll for it.

I saw an article that was posted on the news a few months after the movie came out and they say that when she let's her hair down the way she starts to walk, the look on her face, the dress signifies Elsa letting go of her innocence and letting her self get control something like that, like if something takes over her body ones she lets go of her powers and makes her do all those things or is because of the course.I barely remember it but is something like that the article made sense to me.
But in my opinion she does, I mean, her dress, the expression on her face, her sexy walk.

Just because a woman wears clothes that are "revealing" doesn't mean she is oversexualised. After all that was her choice. It was what she wanted to wear. Some women like revealing clothes.
The had no intention to "oversexualise" her it was just to show that she is not concealing her powers anymore.
If a princess is oversexualised it would be Jasmine. Because she hadn't even turned 16 and she looks like a grown up mature woman.

I don't think so. Her stride is determined, her facial expression is confident and her dress reveals a bit of her skin - so what? It's not like they gave her pumpkin-sized breasts with a wasp waist like in these porn comics.

It didn't escape my notice that the princesses all dress and carry themselves conservatively until Elsa "lets go" of society's restrictions and symbolically sheds her concealing dresses... which is portrayed a BAD THING since "letting the storm rage on" nearly gets the kingdom killed. I thought, "Oh no. This will give kids the wrong subconscious view of sexual liberation."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NO!

She lets her internal storm rage on because their was no one around to hurt, when she was in Arendelle she wouldn't be so confident knowing she cares deeply for those around her.

I'll never understand why parents (Or some people on this club) make such a big deal that she shows half of her leg, nothing else about this dress is in any way revealing. Don't tell me that it's because of the context though, because the context is her not being afraid of who she is and becoming the snow queen, not prancing around looking how her parents wanted her to look (Or how her parents did look) maybe if she dressed that way for a guy maybe, but she was by herself. ALOOOOOONE. If you're going to say, "Absolutely" give a reason.

If Elsa's dress is bad, then Jasmine and Pocahontas's outfit are just as bad. Let's rage a war on Disney for not only that but Cinderella, Ariel and Mulan all having scenes in their movie where they are supposedly naked. (Cinderella's shower scene, Ariel when getting out of the water and taking a bath, and Mulan in the lake, I find that twice as bad as showing half your fricken leg in a dress.)

It's not Elsa's dress necessarily. Her movements--raking a hand through tousled hair, shaking her hips as she walks, etc--that can make people think of sex. It's a highly sensual (and, whoa, kind of sexual) little scene, just like the scene in the Little Mermaid when Ariel gets her legs. Both are needlessly sexualized.

I'm not saying that it's a problem, but it is what it is.

Honestly I don't see anything sexy about it. She's glamorous, pretty, sparkley, but why do people say she's too sexy? Because she has makeup? A body hugging dress? All she's showing is her shoulders, that's like Belle. Ariel and Jasmine show their whole stomachs. I get that she's moving her hips while she walks, but Esmeralda moves way sexier than that. And I think Ariel underwater and Jasmine move sexier than Elsa too. And in my opinion, Elsa has a baby face, she's very cute, and she doesn't look sexy at all.

Yeah of course. From wearing an outfit with only head to be shown and into a tight gown with showing off feet and don't forget when she moves after she transformed. Also not to mention her very thick make-ups. What was that for??? Exploitation of Elsa.

I don't know what you heard, but I don't think she's sexualized at all.

No way. I think a clear example of over-sexualized is Esmeralda's dance, or when Jasmine plays with Prince Ali in her balcony. Next to those, Elsa is clearly not sexualized.
