I don't think Belle and Elsa, particularly the latter, are NEARLY as revolutionary or even modern as people say. sure, Belle is in some ways very 90s being the first politically correct princess, but both are very, very similar to the Classics in their poised, ladylike, unadventurous, slightly passive demeanors.
