I wanna give little girls the benefit of the doubt on this one but I do think the other reason is probably why she was so easily overshadowed by Rapunzel. Think about it, what's more appealing? Long magic hair or kssing a frog.

NOTE: I refused to put the options of "black princess" or "princess in green dress". Again, giving little a bit more credit to little girls.

Tiana would probably have been one of my favorites when I was little because of this tbh. I was into that type of stuff.
