At least there was a reason for Elsa's confinement... Anna was treated as a prisoner under house arrest for literally no reason. And she had no idea why, too. I count that as worse than Elsa's situation.
At least, Elsa knew why she was under "house arrest." No one explained ANYTHING to Anna. It's all the more troubling to not know "why" you are isolated.
what other everyone else said. Elsa is naturally an introvert so she seemed to take it a lot better. Anna was given no explanation and as an extrovert she was forced to live as an introvert which isn't emotionally or socially healthy for her.
definitely elsa -- she wasn't just physically and socially isolated from the world, but she actually had to keep her emotions in check at all times, at the risk of accidentally getting someone she loved seriously hurt or killed. she probably didn't get much, if any, physical affection during her childhood, either. like there's this one scene where she won't even let her father comfort her when she's upset because she's afraid she'll hurt him.
Also, I can't see how Elsa is extroverted at all.
