audreybrooke picked Anna :
Aurora is extremely graceful, while Anna is practically the definition of awkward.

Aurora cured some of her loneliness by making friends with the forest animals, while Anna isolated herself and kept trying to engage Elsa. She could have easily befriended some servants, but instead she kept beating a dead horse and complained when it made her lonely.

Aurora made the responsible choice in her new relationship with Phillip by arranging to meet up with him under the supervision of her aunts, while Anna charged headfirst into a whirlwind engagement with Hans.

Aurora (reluctantly) accepted her new role as princess and all the responsibilities that came with it, while Anna abandoned her kingdom in their time of need after Elsa, their queen, stormed off and left them without a leader. Anna's decision, while being a nice, sisterly thing to do, could have seriously jeopardized the safety of Arendelle.

I rest my case. :D

laylastepford picked Jasmine :
^ I disagree than Anna abandoned her kingdom in their time of need as she went to correct her own mistake which she felt responsible for. She realized that she shouldn't have pushed Elsa and she said "this is all my fault" so she wanted to go and fix things by bringing back the Queen since she knew she didn't feel ready to be a leader and take Elsa's spot yet. Whether right or wrong, she did do what she thought was best to fix the situation and no intent of "abandoning" the kingdom whatsoever.

I choose Jasmine because: Aurora is very stoic whereas all Jasmine does is complain about everything. Aurora is very non-argumentative and submissive to her duties whereas Jasmine is incredibly argumentative and runs away instead of facing her duties. Aurora always shows respects whereas Jasmine disrespects every other character in the film at some point (including her father when she runs away which completely disrespects him). Aurora is very pleasant and doesn't seem easily offended or put off as shown by her time with Phillip in the forest whereas Jasmine is incredibly touchy and gets easily offended at the mere presence of other people. Aurora is incredibly friendly by making friends with animals in the forest whereas Jasmine has only 1 friend in Rajah. Aurora is very quiet and not outspoken whereas Jasmine always has something to say and is very outspoken. Aurora is not rebellious at all but Jasmine is very rebellious. Aurora is very cautious whereas Jasmine is not at all. Aurora grew up very humble in a forest cottage whereas Jasmine grew up very spoiled in a palace. Aurora is very humble whereas Jasmine is not humble at all. Aurora is more mature, tempered, graceful, motherly and overall balanced whereas Jasmine is immature, short-tempered, not graceful, not very motherly and not balanced at all.

audreybrooke picked Anna :
^ I see where you're coming from. I'm not necessarily judging Anna for her decision, by the way. I know that she was trying to make the right choice for her family, which in her mind was charging off to save Elsa. I just think that it would have been more responsible of her to (a) send in the troops to get Elsa, or (b) bring reinforcements if she really wanted to go personally.

^^ Also, I like your laundry list of how different Jasmine and Aurora are. It's very thorough and well thought out. :)

laylastepford picked Jasmine :
^ I agree with what you are saying, I was just personally focusing more on Anna's intent rather than the result but I believe you are absolutely right. I feel the same about when Belle left to go look for her father (albeit no kingdom was counting on her) and I thought she should've tried to get some people to go with her before just impulsively going after him without even stocking up on supplies or anything.

Thank you, I really see Aurora (and Cinderella) as complete and total opposites of Jasmine in every way so I was just sharing "why".

AdelitaI picked Tiana :
Aurora is passive, hopeful, daydreaming, romantic, mystical and abstract thinker. Tiana is a realist and sceptical about everything related to symbolism and magic. She is also uninterested in finding love. Tiana doesn't seem to enjoy dancing and singing.
Mulan is different from Aurora but definitely not her opposite.

Swanpride picked Jasmine :
Aurora dreams of a relationship, Jasmine wants to escape the notion of marriage. Aurora happily obeys her loving aunts, Jasmine is constantly throwing temper tantrums. Aurora would never put an animal into a cage, but Jasmine has multiple pets. Basically I agree with everything laylastepford said.

Sparklefairy375 picked Tiana :
Aurora just have nothing in common with Tiana and Mulan. Aurora is dreamy and waiting for a prince, and Tiana is realistic and don't care with romance stuffs.
Aurora is graceful, elegant, and ladylike, and Mulan is extremely lack of these things.

Aurora has different behaviour (calm, graceful, quiet) with Anna (clumsy, awkward, and act silly sometimes) and Jasmine (outspoken, sassy, stubborn) but at least they three have romantic side and dreaming for a true love.
