I dislike her. For me she is a empty character, very generic. She doesnt have her own personality, we dont get to know her.

I find her terribly bland. Moana's grandmother, by contrast, is a way more interesting character than Moana herself is.

Moana's ok. Doesn't really do anything that warrants hate but doesn't bring enough to the table to garner love imo. But children love her and that's who she was pretty much created to appeal to besides Polynesians themselves, and they seem to approve of her, which matters.
