It's been a while since I saw the movie but I definitely know Aurora isn't shy. She was trying to avoid Phillip in the forest because she was told growing up to avoid strangers

I dont know about shy/not shy but people thinking she was serious about calling the owl a prince says more about them than her. (I assume that's where the idea she's naive comes from anyway; I really can't think of anything else.)

BB2010 made a good point about Aurora not being shy, so that's something I'll think about. I think Aurora probably is naive, and that's not her fault. I take it she's only ever been in the forest, so when she returns to castle life, it'll all be new to her.

Naive no, and as for shy, no I think she was just startled because she thought she was alone in the forest and she was told not to talk to strangers.

I don't see in what way does she's naive and shy.
