Even if not that selfless to you, but in compare with a thief?! No? I admit that he changed and also made a huge sacrifice, but he was quite selfish at first.

Flynn was more selfish then Rapunzel.I don't think she was really selfish to begain with.Now Flynn was at first really selfish as he wanted money and live all alone on a island.He only cared about what he wanted at first and only thought of himself.But when he met Rapunzel he changed and started to see things through her eyes that he always took for granted. And the end he sacrificed alot just so Rapunzel could be free.She was more important to him then his owe self,now that's what I call selfless!
