In me opinion she is just the opposite of Ariel, Ariel want's to be humman and Melody want's to be a mermaid. Melody is just like Ariel when she was a teenager. And the story is the same just that Melody want's to be a mermaid. If you compare both movies is the samething.Same story line but with diferent changes.

I agree with TigerRanma. She isn't included in the official Disney Princess Franchise, so therefore she isn't an "official" Princess, like her mother Ariel. Besides, I'm glad she isn't included. She gets on my nerves, and I don't like seuqels. I like to pretend they don't exist :P
