Add any you think I missed but please don't add all of the above, we all prefer someone who has each of those qualitites but the question is which do you think is MOST important in a role model.

btw I'm not saying the women in these pictures each only have 1 of these qualities I think they each have all 3 but I picked the ones I though best represented the different qualities, Like Buffy has slayer stregnth, Zoe survived a war and got through the death of her husband still fighting so I think she's very emotionally strong and Lara Croft is meant to speak a dozen languages and be very educated.

I think being emotionally strong is the most important, because you can be physically strong and intelligent and still let people walk all over you if you don't have emotional strength. If you don't have a sense of self-confidence and worth, then the rest of it is useless.

Yea, emotionally strong fo meh. One of my favorite sayings are along these lines of, Physical wounds heal and go away. But it's the emotional scars that take us, and shape us, and help define who we are.
A person who can go through emotional trauma and come out stronger, to me, is ten times stronger than someone who can beat people up.

A lot of the stereotypical "strong" characters (both men and women) are emotionally devoid. It's weird.

I like mental strength in terms of intelligence.

i think its important to be physically and mentally strong, but i think any woman who can do that is already emotionally strong because everyone hurts deep down inside especially woman like these. its amazing if they ca do all that ass kicking, think so much and smartly about what they are doing and keep it together the whole time.

For example hermione she is extremely intelligent but in the deathly hallows she was sobbing every two minutes which turned me off her character a lot because she was just not emotionally strong

I picked Emotionally strong over anything else, simply because during times of complete and utter chaos, Physical strength and Mental strength are good, but if you have an imbalance in your emotions, you'll fall apart. Your judgements will not be sound and well thought out if you or someone in your group is hysterical and disturbed by what they have just witnessed.
Also highlighting children as well. A person with strong Emotion and impulse control has the ability to calm a hysterical child, bring them back to reality and subduing their emotions....

In terms of looking for role models for myself, that is, I personally find this one to be really valuable. I think it's because this is something I really lack and am really trying to develop on, for my own benefits and safety. So when I see someone else who can remain so emotionally stable in stressful situations, I admire their ability to do so, and it makes me want to be more like them.

Oddly enough, many of my favourite characters are not that emotionally strong, but no one ever said my favourite characters needed to double as my role models!
