Friendship Question

There's a new kid in town...

So last school year I totally screwed up so I had to do the year over as the only one of my friends and I had to go into a new class. Which is basically switching towns, because you're with that class most of the time. Now in the beginning it was all great and I really felt like it was going great! But now it sort of seems like I'm screwing up with my "new friends". I'm so quiet because I don't know what to say. And well... I'm just not sure. I don't get their jokes yet and they don't get mine.

So my question is; How should I get closer to them? How am I supposed to talk to them? Like they do or like I do, even though it's completely different? And most of all; when can I call them my friends, instead of "the girls in my class" ? And when can I call them my best friends? I know them since somewhere in the end of August.

thanks. xx

well I don't know if this will help, but try start talking with one person if you don't get a joke ask them explain them when they don't get yours. You can call them your friends when they will start calling you once in a while and talking with you and your bestfriend when you will start looking at them as a person whom u will have trouble living without whom you will be able to confide EVERYTHING too!! becareful whom u make ur best friend I just got ditched by mine!!
