Ok first up the top 40 and pop have got to go!!! Second I'm tired of Kurt always getting strapped with the same boring material like ballads and showtunes!!! And third it's time for Glee to become more rock and roll!!! My choices artists to be covered are:
1. The Doors (yes Finn did one song but seriously this band has more than one awesome hit all of which are timeless from "Break Through to the Other Side", "LA Woman", "When You're Strange", "Love Her Madly" and "Riders on the Storm")
2. HEART (is a rock band made up of chics but trust me when I tell you these women can rock and I could totally picture Kurt singing hits like "Crazy on You", "Stranded", "Magic Man", "Never" and "Tall Dark Handsome Stranger")
3. Billy Idol (I know for a fact Finn, Puck, Sam and Blaine totally have enough suave and swagger to pull off this 80s punk rocker icon epescially with hits like; "Rebel Yell", "Don't Need A Gun", "Shock to the System" and "Flesh for Fantasy")
4. Michael Jackson (you can say what you want but Thriller/Heads will Roll doesn't count as a tribute episode to this amazing artist and I wanna hear Finn, Kurt, Artie, and Puck sing hits like "Bad", "Smooth Criminal", "Billie Jean", "Beat It", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Leave Me Alone", "Wanna be startin' Something" and "Will You Be There"<which would be a great Finn and Kurt duet)
5. Elvis Presley (okay this guys songs are timeless he needs to be covered and I can so picture Blaine singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" to Kurt!!)
7. Van Halen (there's alot of great rock tunes done by this band, most of which I can totally hear the boys preforming as a group)
8. The Guess Who (I love this Canadian rock band so much who produced hits like "American Woman", "Shakin' All Over" and "These Eyes")
I can't think of anything else off the top of my head but I think you get the idea. Glee should do more rock and cover music legends who infuenced music today!!
