Glee Question

Can I just ask, why don't Glee fans care at all about Finn & Kurt's relationship/storyline????

I'm disappointed this wonderful duo gets no love or recognition and I'm not saying this just becuz I love these two I'm actually shocked no one talks about Furt at all!! I mean it's pretty sad when all the media cares about is what will happen to Finchel? Will Brittana finally happen? Are Kurtchel going to New York together? The list goes on and I find these storylines not nearly as meaningful or as endearing as the relationship between Kurt and Finn. Argue all you Finn-haters want but you have to admit these two bring out the best in one another (in a non-romantic way) whether it's dramatic or funny, and Chris and Cory are just fantastic together. So someone needs to seriously explain to me why no one cares about this touching and beautiful relationship becuz I'm absolutely baffled:/ I mean there's nothing more moving than two different kinds of people living in the same family who love one another in a platonic way against all odds.

I suppose people are just like Ryan, forgot the wonderfulness of Furt and let it dissolve. I want Furt back! D':

^ But how is that even possible??? This relationship stands out so much when it's focussed on properly. There's so many positive influences that can occur from a friendship like this, I think its more unique than Kurtchel (we already know girls get along with guys who are same sex oriented). Furt demonstrates the beauty of platonic male love between a straight guy and a gay guy, painting the ups and downs but ultimately a positive light that these two different groups of guys can be close friends:) I love this relationship so much, it's portrayed beautifully by Cory and Chris, I just miss Furt alot:(

There are many different characters and couples on Glee to like. Its not like say, Bones or Castle where you have your two clearly paired up characters that everyone wants to see get together. On Glee you have about 14+ coupling scenarios all of which appeal to different people. The most pronounced are Finchel: 'the it couple' (how the writers wrote them, not my opinion) and Brittana & Klaine: the dream of both slash fanfic writers, and the entire LGBT community.

You like Furt, I love them along with several other less doted upon pairings. People are going to like what they like. You can't force someone to enjoy exactly the same pairing, if they prefer someone else, just as you would not enjoy being forced to like (and I shutter just thinking about this) Lauren & Kurt as a couple.

^Ewwww Lauren/Kurt just grosses me out!!! Oh I'd never make anyone like pairs that I'm into, that could never happen. I'm just baffled as to why a unique relationship like there's hasn't had enough focus on or why no one really cares about their storyarc:/ I mean if RIB was just gonna waste their relationship like this, why make them brothers in the first place?

It sadly got lost along with Quinn's post-adoption storyline, Artie tutoring Puck storyline, Tina's entire personality, and Finn's freaking mother. *Rolls eyes* at the writers severe case of ADHD.

^LOL that's totally what happened along with the supposed friendship between Quinn and Mercedes:/

Once I read this question, I knew exactly who asked it. And sadly, I wasn't wrong. Personally, I like Furt. But like OceanCoast said, there are just so many other pairings/relationships for viewers to focus on. And the producers have made it pretty clear which ones take precedence (Finchel, Brittana, and Klaine). Also, please stop looking for affirmation from other people on your opinions. Just because someone agrees with you doesn't make your opinion right, and just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make your opinion wrong. Think what you want to think, but don't expect everyone else to think the same way as you. And don't get angry when they don't.

I didn't post this out of anger it was a simple question I was curious about and I don't expect people to like certain pairings just cuz I do. I just think it was a waste for RIB to create a storyline between these two if they weren't going to focus on them at all:/

Okay. I agree with you about that, I think that RIB should have developed their storyline more.

It's the writers, simply put. If they don't care enough to show a Furt scene every once in a while, than the fans can't care enough to like them. Most fans care about big things that are happening (or that haven't happened). Drama and relationships and relationship drama. And conflict.
