do u think its okay for them to show us gay people in the show ?? be HONEST
i just wanna thank u for answering .... i think its ok too , because people should be free to like who they want... and a tv series just shows us the reality..and alot of gay people out there...and i dont mind it ..
Do think it's okay for them to show us straight people in the show?? be honest.
because showing gay people is just like showing straight people on tv, it's just two people who love eachother be that a girl and a girl, a boy and boy or a boy and a girl, none of them are any more "normal" than the other so I don't see why it should course any controversy.
btw, I don't know if you meant any harm by this question or not but if I were you I'd edit it because if you didn't mean it in a rude way I gaurantee you people will take it the wrong way.

^ I think you said it all...If I answered it'll probably come out really rude
See, this is how I see it. There are people out here in this world who are gay/lesbian and all that. They're as human as straight people. Some straight people, to me, are sorta ignorant for bullying them and treating them like they're not significant. They don't even know what it's like. Say for example if a girl likes another girl. It's just the same as a girl liking a guy, but with the same sex. Now, whether they like each other or not, those ignorant folks make fun of them and call them different. Sure, they don't have the same sexuality, but it's not like they're aliens or anything. If people out there knew more about the life of a gay/lesbian person, then they'd understand the feelings they have. So to answer your question, yes, it's okay.

I'm sorry but this question is very rude and offensive. Why would you ask people this? Glee is about acceptance which is what people need to realize in the real world. I have friends who are gay and bi and as they would say "you really need to educate yourself on this topic".

they were just asking u obviously need to realize they were just asking if its offends u just don't answer it.
Aw that's really sad :( Think we had at least 3 gay people in my year at school and nobody cared - someone's sexual preference shouldn't define someone
That is really sad @gleekbrianna808 if i was in your class i would stand up for whoever was ever being bullied if they were gay. And @saz19126 i agree with your comment just because of someone's sexuality shouldent judge their charcter
I'm not sure why you're asking this, i hope it's just because you are curious as to what other people think & believe, not that you think it's wrong...
But to answer your question:
Of course it is okay! In my opinion, a tv show that only shows one or two types of characters, never features people of different sexual orientations or different religious beliefs etc. that is a show i do not want to watch. Where is the enjoyment in watching a boring, one-dimensional tv show?
The world is full of many diverse people, so why shouldn't there be diversity in our tv shows??
Honestly, i know there are ignorant, hateful people in the world - but if someone tries to say that gay/lesbian characters shouldn't be a normal part of tv/movies {and NOT in some ridiculous, stereotyped way} that to me is like saying that there shouldn't be multiple races/ethnicity's on tv.
Yes its ok. I have alot of gay firends and to me It doesnt matter whoever you love you know deep down in your heart you love that person and that person loves you back and you and that person doesnt hurt each other.
Glee has done so much for the LGBT community. It has affected a whole generation of teens who have realized how much their bullying can hurt others and given kids an out celeb like Chris to look up to.
I'm bi and Glee really helped me accept myself. Seeing gay couples showed in the same way as straight couples on the show helped me realize I'm normal.
yes because it shows and proves that glee club will except anyone, despite their race, sexual orientation,or whatever. It just goes to show it only matters what's on the inside and that different people can bond over something that they all love
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the portrayal of gay people on this show. It's not as though being exposed to homosexuality will "scar people for life" or anything like that. If anything, the show teaches people to accept those who are gay and understand that they are no different from those who are straight.
