Why did Nate and Vanessa break up at the end of Season 1?

No it was because Nate had too much going on in his life with his Dad running away and he thought he wouldn't have time for a girlfriend and he wouldn't be able to give her enough of his time or along those lines!

In the season 1 finale he realised he had alot going on in his life and didnt have time for a girlfriend.

'cause Nate have problems with his dad.
