Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter were destroyed by Gaia's forces during the Giant War, leaving hundreds of Demigods defenceless and easy prey.
The Seven of the Prophecy traveled to Alaska where they found a Camp full of Norse Demigods. The Camp was called Camp Midgard. The Norse welcomed the Demigods and soon Camp Midgard became Το Ιερό του Ημίθεοι to the Greeks, Sanctuarium semidei to the Romans and Helligdommen Avguder to the Norse. All of these meant The Sanctuary of Demigods.
Five years later, a bunch of strange Demigods appeared at the Camp. They claimed they were the children of the Egyptian gods. They were welcomed into the Camp and officially the Camp was named Camp Sanctuary.
During the Giant War the Norse has a war with Ragnorak and the Egyptians had their war with Apophis.

The Camp is made up of four sides. Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian:
Greek
The Greek side is basically an exact replica of Camp Half-Blood. It even overlooks the ocean, though no one goes in there seeing as it is pretty much always freezing.
The heads of their side are Cabin Counsellors.
Roman
The Roman side is also an exact replica except of Camp Jupiter. They even have their Field of Mars and River Tiber.
The heads of their side are Praetors(2)
Norse
The Norse side is made up of wooden cabins, whom children of the same god or goddess share. There is a Forge, Arena, Marketplace, Temple for Odin, Thor, Loki and Frigga. There is a forest where the Norse hunt and a stable for all kinds of pets.
The heads of their side are Talismans(4)
Egyptian
The Egyptian side is one large hollow pyramid. Inside there are rooms for each Demigod(though they share the place with two others.). There is an Arena, Marketplace, Stable, Training Room full of booby traps etc. There is a shrine to every Egyptian god and there is also a Forge.
The Egyptian Demigods are also Magicians.
The heads of their side are Head Mages(4)

You can also be Titans and Primordial Deities.
You cannot be a child of Chaos.
You can have one Demigod for each Mythology.
