I am trying my hardest to keep up with my writing. This time around, Twinleafshipping and Penguinshipping will also be a part of this story. Sorry that I don't have any Ikarishipping pictures for this one. This will be back in only Dawn's point of view. I hope you enjoy.
Dawn wrote in her new diary.
Dear diary,
I have been bored lately with a lot of free time on my hands, but nothing to do. Piplup dragged me outside to go for a walk earlier, and the strangest thing happened. I didn't realize that Paul wasn't the only one who liked me. My friends say that with my looks and kindness combined, I could get a lot of attention from the guys, but I never thought it was true. It started when I left Twinleaf town to go to the lake a little ways away from town...
"Piplup, did you hear that?" I asked the penguin like pokemon. "Pip!" Piplup said with a quick nod. We run towards the sound that had startled us. When we got there I noticed a shoe beside a small rock on the ground. I tried to think of whose shoe it could be, untill I saw a name signed on the inside of the shoe. I took a closer look and found out that the one who fell in the water was one of my closest friends. "Barry!" I shouted before removing my hat, shoes, socks, and scarf.
I dived into the water to find him. I spotted him quickly. He was holding onto a small ledge trying to get back up but he started slipping and slowly sank to the bottom. I went back up for breath of air before swimming down after him. Piplup followed me down as I went to get Barry.
Once I had grasped Barry's wrist, Piplup helped me bring him to the surface of the water. I pushed him onto dry land before climbing out myself. I started shaking, unsure of what to do. I couldn't tell if he was alive or dead, or if he would live long enough for me to get help.
Just then, I saw Barry's hand twitch and he started coughing, and some water that he had swallowed came out when he pushed himself off the ground and looked down. I put my hand on his shoulder, and the words he said after that really surprised me. "Thanks, I thought only an angel could save me, so maybe that's what you are, an angel," He said. I then remembered that I hadn't told him about Paul. He dropped down to lay down again and I leaned down beside him.
After that I walked home with him and he went inside to dry off. I went back to my house to get ready for a dance later today. That's what led to now.
**********Three hours later, at the dance**********
Me and Paul arrive at the dance and Paul is looking a bit nervous. "Paul, is something wrong?" I ask him. He sighs and looks down. "Please tell me," I say to him, a little worried. He looks at me then looks away again. Afterword, he tells me something he should have said before we came. "I-I can't dance," He confessed in a whisper that was barely audible.
I saw Kenny walking up, and next is when I realized that he too, likes me. Where do all these guys come from? They ALL like me! "Dawn, are you and Paul going to dance, or do you need a dance partner?" Kenny asks. I look at Paul, who then looks at me and tells me that it's okay for me to dance with Kenny. I walked off with Kenny to dance.
We danced for twenty to thirty possible minutes then I run off to go find Paul, who is eating some fruit over at one of the tables meant for only two. I saw that there was one very large plate, but only one piece of fruit was missing. I sat down and he pointed to the plate. "Do you want some fruit?" He asks me. I take a few apple slices to snack on. I realize that there is a plate of fruit at every table, so I wasn't worried about anything.
There were a few times I went back to dance with Kenny, and a few times I went back to sit with Paul. I eventually convinced Paul that dancing isn't that difficult, and got him up to dance with me. The night was great!
**********The next day**********
I walk back to the lake and find myself sitting on a rock by the water. I am torn between them. The dance with Kenny, saving Barry's life, and the comment Barry made, along with the long conversation me and Barry had on the way home, and to top all that, I still love Paul. I love ALL of them, but I can only have one. This... is one big disaster.
Misty shouts from the shore to wait for her, so I wait. She comes up to sit beside me, and May shows up too. "Is something wrong?" May asks. I slightly nodded, but stayed quiet. "Then what is it?" Misty asks. I flinched when she said that. "Misty, don't," May says, but she is too late. I break and tell them the whole truth, as someone watches from the distance. My biggest mistake.
