Why do some people hate Mephiles? I used to hate him, but I was able to forgive him. Why can't they?

I don't hate him, but it might be because he killed sonic.

Probably because he killed Sonic or hurt Elise... or something trivial like that.

Well... *lowers ears* I did do some horrible things... I tricked you into an attempted murder, then when that didn't work, just did it myself...

I tried to get Shadow to join me, and tried to kill him when he refused...

I tried to release Brother in an attempt to destroy the workings of time...

Heck, even my CREATION led to death!

No offense, Mephiles, but you did do some horrific things. But that is behind us. You are you now, not whatever you were before. Remember that.

I don't hate Mephiles. I'm just extremely scared of him because of how powerful he is and I am madly in love with him.
