The following week
Becca was standing in a long line. Katherine had just dropped her off and knew how long she had been practicing for this. She was wearing her Billie Jean shirt she made with some help from her mother and her black skinny jeans and her white socks and loafers. She was the odd one out of the girls because she dressed like a guy. She was looking down, listening to 'Billie Jean' and heard a couple girls talking about her. "Look at her. She dresses like a guy." One said. The other chuckled. "Yeah, what a total weirdo. She'll never make it into This Is It." The other said. Then this guy walked up to defend her. "She dresses better than you guys, anyway. So don't go dissing on her." He said to them and they were in shock, even Becca. She looked up at him and saw that he had short hair and a fedora on. "Sorry for their rudeness. My name is Andy. What's yours?" She was a bit shy after his introduction. "B-Becca." "Nice to meet you, Becca. Where are you from?" "J-Japan." "Really? Wow. I'm from Australia. I just got here yesterday. And don't worry about what others think. I'll protect you. I can be your big brother." Becca giggled slightly and nodded. "Thank you so much." She told him and she tipped her fedora in front and he chuckled. "A Smooth Criminal fan, huh?" "Yeah. It was one of my favorite dances to do for my dance recital when I was little." He looked at her mp3 and saw that it was on 'Billie Jean'. "You like Billie Jean, too? Can you perform the dance?" "I can, yes. But not out here where everyone can see me." "Come on, dance. Put on a show for your big brother." She giggled and nodded. He got out his stereo and started playing Billie Jean and she performed every step, every turn, the toe stand, the moonwalk, and even sang along with it. Everyone gathered around her and watched her in awe, even the girls who made fun of her for how she dressed. Once the song was done, everyone clapped. But she heard someone clap louder than anyone else. She looked around, but didn't see who had the loudest clapping she ever heard. They saw that everyone else was going inside and signing up, so they followed suit.
After signing up
She got her number on her shirt and was ready for anything. They went into the black box and she saw her teacher. He saw her and was shocked. "Becca? So you took my advice and came, huh?" He asked. "Yeah, I did. I'm really excited and at the same time nervous, Travis. I've never auditioned before." "Just follow my lead, ok? You'll get in, I can be sure of it." "Ok." They all gathered behind Travis and started learning the dances. Soon after learning them all, it was time to audition. She was really nervous about it so much that she felt like she was gonna mess up. She remembered that Michael Jackson felt at home on the stage and there were gonna be other people with her. Kenny Ortega, the co-creator of the project This Is It, moved her to the front of the line. She was nervous as she could be, being watched by other guys. She had her usual outfit on, but was told that after her audition, she was to wear something else, something revealing. She was feeling uncomfortable and asked to speak with Kenny for a bit. He nodded and had Travis take over for a bit. "Kenny, I don't feel comfortable wearing something revealing like what the girls are wearing. My religion won't allow it." "Oh, that's right. Well, do you have something to wear anyway? Like a white t-shirt or something and heels?" She nodded at him. "That will work for you. You'll be the exception. I'll make sure Michael sees you. You'll be in front, still." "I can understand being in front. But I made it to the second round, right?" "Yes you did." She smiled. "Be back here tomorrow at 10 am for round two. Ok? And to tell you first, Michael is coming tomorrow to find his dancers." She got really excited. She was meeting Michael tomorrow.
After everyone auditioned
"Ok, everyone of the selected come forward." Kenny said. Everyone, even Becca, stepped forward. "Come back tomorrow for Round 2. There will be a surprise guest coming tomorrow, choosing the top 15 dancers that catch his eye." He then dismissed them and they left. Becca started walking away and heard Kenny talking to someone on the phone. She ignored it and went on to walking outside and back to the house.
Back at the Jackson residence
She walked inside and saw Katherine sitting on the couch, playing with three kids. "Oh, your home, Becca." She said. "Yes, I'm home. Who are these three?" Becca asked. The little girl walked up to her and looked at her. Becca knelt down to her height. "Hello, what's your name?" She asked. "Paris." "Hello, Paris. My name is Becca." She smiled at Becca and gave her a hug. She hugged back. She turned to the two boys behind her. "Those are my brothers, Prince and Blanket." She said. Becca waved to them and Prince waved back. Blanket was shy. "Blanket is the youngest and he's really shy. He's like dad." "Awe, he's so precious. You all are." She smiled and ran back to Katherine. "Grandma, she's nice! I like her already. You were right." Katherine smiled at Paris. "I'm glad you like her." She said and Becca walked up to Katherine and told her the news. "Guess what?" "What?" "I made it to round 2 of the auditions." Katherine was in shock. "Really? Wow. That's amazing." "Yeah, well, I'm gonna go rehearse in my room." "Alright. Dinner should be ready soon." Becca nodded and headed into her room to rehearse some of the dances she learned. First off was Smooth Criminal. She started playing it and she started dancing it, step by step. Little did she know, Paris came into the room and saw her dancing and was in shock. 'She dances just like dad.' She thought. She sat down on the bed and Becca wasn't paying attention, she just continued dancing. When the song ended, she heard clapping and saw Paris sitting on her bed, clapping for her performance. Becca jumped a little bit and her voice changed slightly. "Paris, you scared me for a minute." She said. "Sorry, I heard the music and decided to watch. You're really good at dancing." Becca smiled at Paris and patted her head. "Thank you, but I'm not as good as he is." "You talking about my dad?" "Who's your father, Paris?" "Michael Jackson." Becca's eyes went wide for a bit and her jaw dropped slightly. "Michael is your father? You must be pretty lucky." "Dad never mentions us much. We have to be kept a secret." "I understand that, Paris. Having to wear a mask all the time. I know for a fact that you and your brothers will come out of your shells and help everyone just like your dad." Paris looked at Becca. "You really think so?" "I know so." Paris gave her a big hug and she hugged back. "Thank you so much." "No problem." They hugged tighter and she heard a bell ringing and they pulled a part. "Oh, that must be Aunt LaToya coming to take me and my brothers back to Dad. Thanks for the comfort." "No problem. Thanks for watching me dance and being my first live audience member." She giggled and ran to get her stuff and got her brothers. Becca watched them from her window get into LaToya's car and drive off.
After dinner
Becca went back into her room and got ready for bed. She was excited for tomorrow. Tomorrow was Round 2 and Michael was gonna show up and choose his dancers. She was hoping she'd make it and get to see Prince, Paris, and Blanket again. She got under the covers and then went to sleep, thinking of the dance steps in her dreams.

The Michael Jackson estate is tired of waiting for Lloyd's of London to pay out on the $17.5 million "This Is it" insurance policy -- so they're going after Lloyd's in court ... demanding they pay up, stat.
Lloyd's of London originally issued the policy to cover potential losses for MJ's 2009 "This Is It" concerts -- but earlier this year, the company asked an L.A. court to declare the policy null and void ... claiming MJ lied about his medical history and drug addiction.
Lloyd's insists the policy "was restricted to losses resulting from accident only" -- pointing out Michael's official cause of death was "homicide."
But the estate is now on the offensive -- filing a cross-complaint, claiming MJ never intended to die, whether by homicide or not, so his death still qualifies as an accident.
But the estate isn't just settling for the original $17.5 million -- they also want punitive damages. FYI, suing for punitive damages often scares the crap out of insurance companies.

With the two-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death approaching -- one helicopter company is giving fans the chance to pay their respects ... by raining flowers down around Neverland ... mid-flight.
The 30-minute Channel Island Helicopter flights are set to take off June 24th and 25th -- exactly two years since Jackson died after a Propofol-induced cardiac arrest.
During the flight, passengers are encouraged to honor the late entertainer by chucking his favorite flower -- a red rose -- out of the helicopter mid-flight ... over nearby Zaca Peak.
A rep for the helicopter company tell us -- fans are super excited for the aerial tour ... saying they feel it will bring them "closer to heaven" ... and closer to Michael.

Lloyd's of London has gone to court ... asking a judge to let the company off the financial hook, claiming it doesn't owe the Michael Jackson Estate $17.5 million on grounds MJ was a fraud.
The company issued the muilti-million dollar policy to cover the doomed "This Is It" tour for losses.
But Lloyd's claims it doesn't have to honor the policy for 2 primary reasons:
1. Michael Jackson and AEG allegedly lied about Michael's medical history -- specifically, MJ said he had not seen a doctor other than a cosmetic MD since June, 2005.
2. Michael did not disclose he was taking prescription drugs prior to and at the time of his death -- including Propofol.
Lloyd's is asking the court for a declaration that the policy is null and void as a result of the alleged fraud.
Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the Estate, tells TMZ, "This legal action is nothing more than an insurance company trying to avoid paying a legitimate claim by the insured."
