Percy Jackson and the Olympians Pollux And Castor

In Greek Mythology, there were two sons of Zeus named Pollux and Castor. As we all know, in the Percy Jackson series, Pollux and Castor are sons of Dionysus. Completely random, but... anyone have any thoughts on this?

Actually Pollux and Castor were Roman mythology. Castor and Polydeuces were the Greek version.

Yeah, I read it in a book about mythology, but it didn't specify if it was Greek or Roman mythology..
