Poetry Question
My poem called Sentimental Suicide
I reached out
Reaching for your face
The bloodstains on your neck
The bruises on your arms
The scars on your chest
That face I wanted to see for so long
I knew it was too good to be true
I knew that it couldn't be true
I knew that you couldn't be back
I lost you once
And wouldn't lose you again
But as I go to touch your face
I notice your nothing but an illusion
Of what was left
I know your just a fantasy
I lost you
And you will never return </3
I shall love you forever
In heaven or in hell
My heart forever rests with you
And after today, I will be with you too
Another knife strokes my wrist
But soon...
A bullet shall reside in my head.
Reaching for your face
The bloodstains on your neck
The bruises on your arms
The scars on your chest
That face I wanted to see for so long
I knew it was too good to be true
I knew that it couldn't be true
I knew that you couldn't be back
I lost you once
And wouldn't lose you again
But as I go to touch your face
I notice your nothing but an illusion
Of what was left
I know your just a fantasy
I lost you
And you will never return </3
I shall love you forever
In heaven or in hell
My heart forever rests with you
And after today, I will be with you too
Another knife strokes my wrist
But soon...
A bullet shall reside in my head.
