Do you noticed most movies nowadays are either reboots and remakes as well as sequels and prequels? And overall have unoriginal, lackluster ideas and concepts?

Are the filmmakers either lacking or running out of ORIGINAL ideas and concepts for their movies?

It's not that filmmakers are lacking original ideas. You get em when you watch an indie film. They just don't have the budget for sufficient advertising and distribution.

But with Hollywood and blockbusters the main goal is butts in seats. Sequels, remakes and reboots sells tickets. Monayyyyy.

No, I don't really follow movies. But I did remember watching someone mentioning all the unoriginal movies, sequels and remakes and all, coming out. If that is the case I hope there will be a good Once-ler movie coming out ahaha.

Yeah, there have been a lot of remakes and prequels and sequels lately, but there have actually been a lot of good original movies lately. I don't think any filmmakers are running out of ideas, it's just that they are trying to get money off of old movies by remaking them.
