What was your first reaction when bella first described carlisle in the book twilight? (be honest)

when you read twilight, and bella had been presented to docter carlisle, did you like him BEFORE you seen him in the movie? be honest please, who knows, the biggest fans could have disliked him before the movie, thank you!
