I'm Nienke, and i'm from Holland/The Netherlands. And I live in Amsterdam.
I do know a bit of sign language, but only the characters (letters) of the alfabet, so I have to spell everything out. I just got a member here at fanpop (3 hours ago exactly)... And eh, don't know what else to say.

I do not need to know sign language, but I wanted to learn some kind of language, & since I don't like to talk a lot I thought sign language was perfect for me.

hello, I'm from Paris and I'm learning sign language because a friend of mine is deaf and we can't talk with him. It's quite hard but I think I'll be able to talk qith him in some months :)

Hiya, I'm Rosa from Upstate New York. I know some sign language, and am still learning more. I am hard of hearing. I have bilateral hearing aids, but don't wear them often, because when i do and i'm out, people look and talk to me like i'm stupid. I DO read lips, have been since i was a young kid. I plan on going to the community college here, to take their classes, which are fairly new, and i am very glad. I'm 35, love spending time with a few close friends and my three cats, watching movies, esp. horror, I'm still a kid at heart, and try not to take things to seriously. ya well that's it for now.
