Super Smash Bros. Brawl Question

Why the fuck is Peach fighting in a dress?? Or fighting at all?! She can't even save herself from Bowser!! Oh, right.... the makers just needed to have more representatives of one series....and more than every other character for some reason.

At least be like Zelda and put on some pants underneath!!!
