nope! a fan is a fan, what does it matter when you start liking them?? thats why actors make more films than just one, to get more fans. They only become more acclaimed by gaining more fans. i wasn't a fan till cheaper by the dozen 2, does that mean im a fake fan because i didn't like him before that when he was shark boy???

a fake fan is someone who ust like the actor phisically and says he loves him like an example, there is a girl at school who says is a fan of eward cullen and she writes EDUARD CULLEN, is that a fan?
idts i mean if im a fan and iatleast i have read the books and relyknow who tl is but im not gonna be selfish and say im a real fan if i dont even know hs last name
YEP i agree i liked Taylor when he played Shark Boy and Lava Girl and loved him in twilight (lol a bit guilty)

I think the ultimate Taylor fan would have to have noticed his talent and charm from the beginning but a fan is fan. It doesn't matter when you started.....as long as you don't like him just for his muscles and for his acting, too.

I think that fake fans are inevitable for anything that gets popular.
There are already I'm sure at least thousands of people who are fake Twilight fans.
It's when the craze is over, when you stop seeing the actors on the covers of magozines, when few people know who they are anymore, THAT'S when you prove yourself a true fan.

What is a 'fake' fan? Either you like something or you dont. And it doesnt matter that someone started liking something or someone just because its popular...maybe they didnt know about it until it became popular....or maybe their interests were somewhere else and one day they went.."hmmm I wonder what all the fuss is about...let me check it out".... so I'm not sure why people get upset over this "fake fan" stuff.....just my opinion... :)
