Can You See Me?
Chapter 1: Regret

I remember the last day I was free, the last day I could communicate with people. 
It was a friday night.
Little did I know I would be trapped for five thousand years…
It was the day of Nat Johnson's party, my boyfriend.
I've know him since the sixth grade.
Anyway Hannah should be here with Sunny soon.
Obviously Hannah wants to drive my Ferrari.
I don't blame her it's my favorite color, red.
Crack.
"Shit, Not another comb broken! What the hell!"
That's the eighth one broken this week alone.
I look at the mirror, I always tend to take my stress off on my straight, dark brown hair.
I'm wearing my favorite turquoise blouse with my black flats.
My eyes are sapphire.
I don't know why thought, my parents both have blue eyes.
Weird I know.
I think mom might have an extra comb around somewhere.
"Emily, hurry up! I'll jack your Ferrari!"
"Hannah don't you dare!"
"Sunny calls shotgun!"
Great I broke my last comb and now I have to sit in the back of my own Ferrari.
What a great night.
I was so wrong.
I quickly fix up my hair and run downstairs.
My parents are out for dinner tonight but my sister Taylor is home.
"Hey no drinking okay Em."
"Don't worry Taylor, I'll be fine. I have Nat with me."
I run into the garage and sure enough Hannah is sitting in the driver's seat with Sunny at shotgun.
Hannah has her blonde hair in curls and she's wearing her pink shirt with a leather jacket and boots.
Sunny has her black hair back in a ponytail. 
She's wearing her red shirt with heels.
I grab Nat's present, I got him his favorite band's CD.
I jump into the back and Hannah starts talking nonstop as usual.
I put the window down and look out at the city.
You can hundreds of lights shinning everywhere.
"Hannah slow down, you'll get a ticket!"
"Slow down, in a Ferrari? No way Em!"
We arrive at Nat's house in record time.
His house is by the beach just a five minute walk to the sand.
We ring the bell and wait.
I start to feel nervous.
Nat opens the door smiling.
He's wearing a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a lose black tie around his neck. 
"Hey guys!"
Hannah and Sunny both give their presents to Sam and walk to join other people. 
I look at Nat his blonde hair and blue eyes make me vulnerable. 
"Hey, glad you could make it."
He smiles and puts his arms around my waist.
"Why would I miss it? Who else is going to smear cake on your face?"
We both laugh.
He kisses me and then we both walk to join his best friend Justin Adams.
"Hey Em."
"Hey Justin."
We all start to dance, sing and run around.
The party was in full blast.
I thought that the night has just begun.
Little did I know, of anything that was going to happen in a matter of hours

Tittle: Can You See Me?
Chapter: 2 Realization

Realization
The party started to die around eleven, until there was only the six of us left (Nat, Justin, Hannah, Sunny ,Jessica I hate her, and I me ).
So we decided to sit back and watch a movie.
Unfortunately for me, everyone wants to watch a horror movie.
Justin pulls out Mirrors, "How about this Nat?"
"Haha, sure Justin. Pop it in."
We all sit on the ground in a semicircle, Justin and Hannah to my left and Sunny, Jessica and Nat to my right.
I inch closer to Nat and he wraps his arms around me.
He knows I HATE horror films.
I was so foolish back then.
The movie starts at a guy in this old mansion place thing.
There are mirrors everywhere inside, weird. 
The guy is starting to slow down and I close my eyes.
I hear everyone scream (Hannah the loudest, of course).
I probably closed my eyes for the whole movie and hugged Nat to death.
Except at the end, when I saw the guy get transported to the other side of the mirror.
Everyone looks at each other and I don't like Hannah and Justin's faces.
I shiver as everyone gets up and sits on a couch.
"Hey Em, you alright?"
I look at Nat he seems a little worried.
"Yeah just that I hate horror films."
"I know, come sit."
I sit beside him and he strokes my hair. 
"You guys me and Justin have a fun game to play!"
We look up and see Hannah and Justin with sly faces.
"Everyone here is going to do the mirror thing!"
Hannah looks like a kid who just got a box of matches for Christmas.
Very bad idea coming up.
"And whoever does it the longest gets fifty bucks from me and Hannah."
Justin obviously agreed to do the mirror thing with Hannah, he's crazy about her.
He holds up a fifty dollar bill and sure enough I see Ulysses S. Grant's face.
Curse you money.
Jessica eagerly gets up and asked to help.
Curse you Jessica, and your perfect blonde hair, black dress.
Justin and Hannah bring out a full body mirror, about seven feet tall.
Then Jessica turns down the lights, great as if I wasn't scared already.
Finally Justin and Hannah made the mirror fog up.
Justin opened up the freezer and Hannah brought out a hair dryer.
Soon it was fogged up, so that all of us could see the handprint or at least that's what Hannah said.
Then we all sat in front of the mirror waiting for someone to get up and try the dare.
"I'll do it first ."
Justin gets up and probably only to impress Hannah.
Now that I think about it, I wish I touched it first.
He cautiously takes a step towards the mirror and extends his hand towards it.
I can feel the tension in the room sky rocketing high.
I hold my breath as he touches it but he quickly lets go, scardy cat.
Slowly everyone attempts the dare, even Sunny.
She always has a book up her nose 24/7 so that was surprising.
But no one could hold on for ten seconds
The closest person that made it to eight seconds was Jessica
But she let go quickly like everyone else in the room.
That left me the only one in the room left to do the stupid dare.
"Emily its your turn, good luck."
She said that last part like she wins anyway, like I'm too scared to beat eight seconds.
Me and my ego obviously did the dare. 
But let me say that I didn't know it would really happen if I touched it for ten seconds.
