What are your thoughts and feelings on "the kiss" between Damon and Elena in 3X10? Where do you think the two characters will go from here? Thank you.

I thought the Delena kiss was practically perfect. Unlike other kisses, this one seemed pure. It lacked lust and just beamed with love- it was simple, and yet, stunning. The way Elena and Damon's eyes sparkled after the kiss reflected what they both felt; which was, in my opinion, undeniable chemistry.
Also, this kiss reminded me of the episode where Damon told Elena he loved her- and compelled her to forget it. His gentleness and respect for her is so touching. And, because of his feelings for her, he tries hard to protect her and puts her wellbeing before anyone else's.
I can also see why many were disappointed. The kiss did lack a certain passion that many of the Stelena kisses had- post of their in bed experience. Obviously, Stelena fans hated this kissed. Despised it, even. In fact, I saw many saying, "Just because Stefan acts up Elena goes running to Damon! Just wait till he's the good guy!" Being a Delena shipper from the start (but I respect Stelena fans) a pretty much laughed this one off. But maybe Stelena fans have a point. Does Elena prefer the good guy? Maybe. And if Stefan became more responsible (etc etc) would she go back to him? Probably. Though this kiss made me doubt it. That look of love post kiss was undeniable. They both seemed breathless. All the build up to this kiss and now Stelena fans are going nuts. I respect you guys, but chill. Delena have had to deal with a whole relationship. We get one kiss, and a whole lot of sexual tension. Probably writers will eventually make Elena and Stefan the finish product, but imagine if it was Damon instead? It would be unexpected. Thrilling. That's why I loved the Delena "Kiss". It's full of possibilities which are exciting. It's a kind of forbidden love which is a rollercoaster of emotions.

Was perfect! Damon has to stay with Elena at the end! They were made for each other!!!

It wasn't a good kiss. It pretty much was lacking on every level. The kiss Damon and Katherine shared at the end of Founder's Day was the perfect first kiss, and the kiss Damon shared with Elena on the same spot wasn't even fit to touch the hem of the Damon/Katherine kiss. There was none of the feelings or passion that the Damon/Katherine kiss had. There was no shot of Damon walking away touching his lips because they were still burning from the kiss. It was just a bad kiss.
Julie Plec is the Stefan obsessed writer on the show and believer that Stefan and Elena are the greatest love story every told thinks their the show, but in a very real way Damon has become the real heart and soul of the show. I just wish Damon could fall in love with someone else, since I think he deserves better than Elena. The VD triangle reminds me of Lost one. Even thought Sawyer/Kate had better chemistry, Lost had Kate end up with Jack. And most likely the same thing will happen on VD. Even though Damon/Elena have better chemistry, it'll probably always be Stefan/Elena.

Well being a Stelena fan of course I hated it. It's not real for them as it is for Stefan and Elena..Damon has been the one to push this so called love interest between them...Don't get me wrong I can tell Elena has some kind of feelings for Damon but is it as Stefan would say "passionate"? I'd say no, not even close to how it was between Stelena as Klaus said "Crazy or not, that kind of love never dies" and I agree. I don't see Delena going a very far distance beyond that kiss. ♥♥ Stelena Forever ♥♥
