what r vampire diaries???????

Everything is better than Twilight.

if this is a serious question...then yes they are definitely better than twilight. they are more violent and the romance is 'more' too. plus they do follow a constant plot line. unlike twilight where Stephanie Meyer does tend to contradict herself. plus the acting is better. not to mention the that the actors (and actresses) are HOT! i mean rob pattinson and taylor lautner arent ad looking but theyre nothing compared with ian somerhalder.
though i have to say that the vampire diaries is not for the squeamish as theyre a bit...okay VERY bloody.

in short the plot follows a girl called elena gilbert (and her friends, bonnie-who is a witch, caroline -a human later turned vampire, and matt-a plain ol' human. oh and tyler lockwood who is a werewolf. basically elena falls for this vampire called stefan who happens to be a vampire. then his brother Damon aka ian smolderhalder-intent on ruining his life(you find out why later) comes along giving you the love triangle from hell(or heaven depending on which way you look at it)anyway there are lots of unexpected events and surprises-good and bad, along the way.

so watch them and see for yourself!
