Damon rejected Elena's call

i kinda wanted Damon to answer the phone because elena needed him...but at the same time, he didnt which shows that he did listen to what klaus said about family being important and all that and does agree even if he wont admit it, though he will deffinitely not give elena up...he once told elena 'i don't deserve you, but my brother does'
but i think now that has all changed since stefan when ripper and now damon had amitted to loving elena aloud to someone other than her(then making her forget it)or himself. which shows that he is really serious about it.
also by not answering it, he didnt gloat about him and elena so he does also apreciates it and isnt going to rub it in stefans face because he wants to win her fairly and he isnt playing around. which means things are going to get serious.
and you cant forget that stefan told elena that she was better than both of them(though i think that was him being a jealous ass.

I think Damon only rejected Elenas call because he still needs to talk to stefan and tell him that he loves Elena and thats that no matter what stefan thinks about their relationship he will always love her put himself in harms way to save her and he will also put up a fight if stefan wants her back.

i think it's a huge step for Damon that he admitted being in love with Elena..although eerybody already knew that...it is always hard for him to open up..show his cards..and that's why he rejected the call..he just needed to say this to Stefan..because in another case he wouldn't probably do that..
now..when they both confessed it will be intersting to see who at least will win her hear) (hope that will be Daaamon)))
