if Billy is paralysed in his legs how does he drive the car in the movie?

There are special cars that are driven with the hands, I guess he had one of those.

he isn't paralyzed, he has arthritis in his knees so he can still move his feet. but in the book Jacob drives the truck.

i was gonna say that hje doesnt... but now i remeber!! it even says he cant drive too! cuz charlie says hes gonna pretend he didnt c jacob driving and jacob said they get permits early on the rez! (in a joking kind of way!)

Duh, he gets help into his car, and you can drive with paralyzed legs...what kinda question is this? well, i guess you do have to put ur foot on the gas and break, but im sure there's a way around that...but it's a movie, there's always something in a movie that doesn't make sense...weird question...you should come up with a question that's interesting :)

That's a really good question and even me,myself been puzzled about that. I guess the car is specially made for people like him.

They have special things that help people like Billy drive and take showers and do many other things with out other people.
