Video Games Question

Name a game you consider a creator's pet: link

Sakamoto wanted people to consider Metroid: Other M one of the best games, but the opposite proved to be true due to accusations of sexism(One thing being the saying about Samus's encounter with Ridley "is not a sign of weakness, but of strength", which doesn't fool me), shoddy mechanics, inconsistencies with other games, and other forms of bad writing.

I guess FFXIII comes under the definition of a creators pet.

It has a lot of hate from the fans, but they still seem to be focusing on popping out sequels left right and centre rather than focusing on games we actually want. They're trying to convince us to love this shitty final fantasy instalment. And they are just shoving Lightning in our faces way too much, trying to label her as the new big face of Final Fantasy. It's not going to happen Square Enix.... she is one of the most boring and uninspiring characters I've ever come across.
