I don't think it's a certain number of fans. I think a lot of it depends on the activity in a spot. If there are just two or three fans that do all the contributing, it won't become a full spot very quickly. I'm not sure what the exact 'formula' is to determine when a spot becomes a full spot.

I don't know if there is any specific number. A spot I made got full sport status with only about 20 fans, whereas other spots have hundreds of fans and they are still pending spots. I think it is a combination of number of fans and activity in the spot. But I don't know for sure. Thats just my guess.

Yeah the "Anything" spot has 300 fans but is still pending. I once created a spot and it was no longer pending after 1 month and 9 fans. But I also added over 1200 links.

Well I've got four spots now and I always ad content as well as contributing to other spots, but I'm lousy with adding videos and links.
