I am a 15 year old school boy and looking for a future in writing books and i feel i should get started somewhere. Does anyone have any good topics or tips that i could use?

NaNoWriMo is coming up in November; that can be a good place to start. Overall, though, you need to be realistic, and I say that to anyone looking to make a living off writing. The "overnight successes" and the mega-selling series and VERY, VERY RARE. The likelihood that you'll have the next HUNGER GAMES or HARRY POTTER or whatever is very slim. Focus on writing because you enjoy it, and focus on improving your skills.

There are several sites you can use for writing your books and getting them out there. I would recommend Wattpad. It is very easy to use and they constantly have competitions you can enter your book into to get yourself known. It's a great opportunity.
