Declan stood in place, panting from the exertion. Feeling the adrenaline drain from his vein. The men remained unconscious and unmoving.
Though it had left him with a black eye and several bruises, Declan knew the fight had been too easy.
The floor beneath his feet shuddered slightly and shifted as the train made a turn, pulling Declan from his collective trance.
Every passenger was solemnly silent, even the baby. They gave him fearful looks. But another emotion glinted there. Accusation. He had beat these men. Declan realized it did not matter to them that the thugs had come after him with every intention of taking his life.
He looked out the window and saw that they were crossing under a bridge. A glittering bay splayed out beneath them and stretched out to the Atlantic. Gotham City was barreling toward them.
There were enough witnesses to stick this crime on him. The cops would arrest him, discover who he was, then lock him up for the rest of his life. Or execute him. Then he would never be able to find the girl that looked so much like someone he had lost so long ago.
Declan ran his sky blue eyes over the fear stricken passengers. They had all seen him and could clearly describe a young adult male, cocasian, slender with well-toned muscles, wavy blonde hair, clear, sky blue eyes, and serious anger management issues. Even if they couldn't see the scares and tattoos beneath his jacket and jeans, they had enough info for the police to track him down just by image.
There was only one way out of this. The only way he had ever been taught. Disappear.
As soon as the train doors opened to the subway station in Gotham City, the invisible boy was gone.

Hair:
Where i was originally born, i was royalty. Chosen immediately because my hair was white. In my tribe white hair was a rarity. And that child would become the queen or king at the earliest time possible. I became queen at the age of eight. I was wiser than i sounded. I was terrifying, yet generous. I helped and protected when ever necessary. But When my indecent occurred, and i was banished i left. And i was replaced by a new queen. A seven year old girl with short white hair. At that time i had long white hair.
It was to grow out for however long i was ruling. Now i had to cut. It was custom. Now i cut and left my hair grow out at what ever pace i choose. But as i look at my hair and see it flow, the pain flows too. The past i had. I loved it so. But it was part of my cursed color of hair that i became who i am. but then without it now...who would i be? Would i be here? Would i have the friends i do now?
