The CSI series are up for Emmy consideration in acting, writing and directing categories 

All three members of the CSI franchise have actors and episodes on the nomination ballot for the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. The official nominations will be chosen from this ballot, and the nominees will be announced Thursday, July 16.
