Prodosh Chandra Mitter - known to his fans as Feluda, is the Indian Sherlock Holmes. His creator, Satyajit Ray,potrays this character as sharp,intelligent, focused young man who solves the cases handled over to him swiftly with his intelligence. His first case is, 'Danger in Darjeeling' whish was first publised in the year 1965-66.Between 1965 and 1992, Ray wrote 35 Feluda stories, featuring Feluda and his teenage assistant Topshe, or Topesh Ranjan Mitra , his cousin.
