Maya the Bee Question

Why is Maya the Bee on Disney Plus?

While searching for more Maya the Bee stuff in German, I have noticed that one of the tags says "disney+" which made me to question myself when did Maya the Bee became available on Disney Plus which I ended up searching "biene maja disney" and found out that it was indeed available on that streaming site, not only in German, but also in English, French and Spanish. The ones that are currently available are the 2012 TV Show and the first movie. Well, I'm guessing they put the 2012 version in there because it was aired on Disney Junior in some countries and have distributed the first two movies in Germany, but I know that Disney have included a lot of shows and movies that are not owned by them, but this made me kinda worried if Disney is trying to buy everything that exists? I hope they don't because they have enough of them. I still love Disney though, but I'm not happy with all of the plans that they are currently doing.

Hmm...Interesting, but to me having the whole series being available on ZDFmediathek/ZDFtivi and ORF Österreich makes more sense to me since Disney doesn't owns the franchise, but I know that various series are available on various platforms and Disney+ is one of them. Thank you for your answer.
